Swiss Cosmetology Institute (“Swiss“, “Cosmetology“, ”Institute“), Kolbenacker 14, 8052 Zürich, Switzerland, operates the website www.sciedu.ch (the “Website”).
Acceptance of terms
Parts of the Website are reserved for healthcare professionals and require a prior registration (“Registered Users”).
In order to register, you must be a natural person with full legal capacity and a healthcare professional (medical practitioner/physician, dentist or pharmacist).
Registration or acceptance of registration does not affect any professional limitations that may be placed on a healthcare professional by legislation, rules, and policies.
For the registration, you are required to submit personal data, such as your name, date of birth, profession, discipline, registration number, practice address and email address (together the “Registration Data”). You are also required to choose a user name and password (together the “Log-in Information”).
Swiss Cosmetology Institute is entitled to request relevant proof (e.g. certificate of professional qualification, DocCheck authentication) that you are a healthcare professional.
All Registration Data must be complete and accurate. You are required to update your Registration Data if it changes.
We reserve the right to decline registration or activation in case of the suspicion of fraud or falsity of personal information. No right to registration and/or activation exists.
As soon as a precondition for becoming a Registered User (e.g. being a healthcare professional) no longer exists, you have to immediately notify us by sending an email to email@example.com and your right to use the Access ceases automatically.
You may register only once. We reserve the right to close any additional accounts a Registered User may register on the Website.
With registration on this Website, you agree that the payment is processed by the external provider “Stripe”, “Paypal”.
Children’s Online Privacy
By accepting these terms and conditions, you agree that you are at least 18 years of age at the moment of registration
Termination of the User agreement
Termination of the User agreement by either party will result in a ban or the deletion of the account.
- Are received through the StudyPortals contact form
- Originate from the user who´s account is subject to the notice or request
- Are on request by the Website administration confirmed by a message originating from the e-mail account or telephone number associated with the account
If you’d like your account permanently deleted with no option for recovery, send us an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) with the request to do so.
When your account has been deleted, Swiss Cosmetology Institute will use reasonable efforts to remove your Content from the Website, but you acknowledge that caching or references to the Content may not be made immediately unavailable.
Changes to these Terms
Swiss Cosmetology Institute account and content security
By creating an account on the Website, you are responsible for maintaining the security of the account and its content and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under the account and any other actions taken in connection with the content. - your Content is not getting advertised via unwanted electronic messages such as spam links on newsgroups, email lists, other blogs and web sites, and similar unsolicited promotional methods;
- your Content is not named in a manner that misleads your readers into thinking that you are another person or company. For example, your Contents URL or name is not the name of a person other than yourself or company other than your own; and
- you have, in the case of Content that includes computer code, accurately categorized and/or described the type, nature, uses and effects of the materials, whether requested to do so by StudyPortals or otherwise.
By submitting Content to Swiss Cosmetology Institute for inclusion on our Website, you grant Swiss Cosmetology Institute a worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, modify, adapt and publish the Content solely for the purpose of promoting Swiss Cosmetology Institute.

Jurisdiction and disputes
All legal relationships between Swiss Cosmetology Institute and the user are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Should any dispute arise concerning the User agreement that cannot be settled amicably, then it should be brought before the court with competent jurisdiction in the Switzerland.
